Dori
graduated from the University of
Washington with a double major
in journalism and political
science in 2000 and landed her
first reporting job at
The Seattle Times. Four years
ago, after an
award-winning career, she
started writing freelance.
Her
reporting years have given Dori
an edge. She understands
deadlines and makes a point to
turn in her stories days before they're due.
She's familiar with both the
Associated Press Stylebook and
the Chicago Style Manual, and
will write to whatever
guidelines a publication
prefers. She works well with
editors, is meticulous in her
research and an expert at
finding experts.
